Izar – Herramientas de Amorebieta S.A.L., the national leading manufacturer in cutting tools, goes at the new edition of BIEMH at Bilbao in a decisive moment of its long history, it will not be only in its most important exhibition, but Izar will also inaugurate the new premises of Boroa the 4^th of march.

A new approach focussed to the clients

Close to fulfilling its centenary, Izar has confronted with a lot of success the challenge of being adapted to the new era. An example of that is the change of philosophy that has guided during last years, passing of being a company focussed on the manufacturing to a company that its first objective is to satisfy the needs of its customers, always supported on the major quality of the productive process.

This change of orientation can also be observed in its last product catalogues, they are structured on the basis of the utilization of the different tools, taking into account the needs of each user. Summarising, Izar directs its approach to the clients needs in order to give a satisfactory solution to each case.

It is necessary to stand out the change that for its corporate image has supposed the recuperation and modernisation of the logo of the star (“izar” in Basque means Star) that has accompanied the company during great part of its history; a new logo that has not stopped receiving congratulations everywhere it has been shown and represents better than any other element the new and modern IZAR.

Izar inaugurates the most modern cutting tools factory of Europe

After the complex moving from the old factory that has supposed to transfer 200 employees and 300 machines to his new premises at the Parque Empresarial Boroa (parcela 2B2), Izar culminates its success with the inauguration of his premises in an event with hundreds of guest among authorities (being at the top the “Lehendakari” or president of the Basque country), clients, suppliers, employees etc.

The opening will take place at the factory, to combine an artistic-festive event with an interesting visit of the modern installations, in order to keep the image of an unforgettable day to begin its second century as leading manufacturer in cutting tools.

Novelties at the BIEMH

Izar will present at the Bilbao’s fair (Hall 4, stand D39/E40) his new industrial catalogue 2008, as we have mentioned previously it will be focus on the needs of the clients always to give a satisfactory solution.

On the one hand the utilisation charts have been simplified to a better comprehension, it has been included a very complete list of materials with their correspondent variants according to the countries, also the technical information has been strengthen for each reference (cutting speed, advances for diameter…)

On the other hand the catalogue has been divided: by family products, type of tools and the manufacture material. At the last page of the catalogue a form to be filed has been included to make easier any request of special tools not included in the catalogue.

At the new industrial catalogue there are some novelties, we will stand out the new frontal IZARMAX with a cylindrical shank and several teeth, manufactured with PMX and recovered by TIALN (ref Izar 6647). Its most important characteristic is its 45º helical angle that makes it the best solution for the fine pitch roughing of austenitic stainless steels.

Other fairs in a historical month for IZAR

Not only will take part at its industrial fair and inaugurate his new premises after almost one century in its old factory, and everything in the same week. Izar does not stop and continues showing its products and services at the most important fairs of the world.

From the 9^th to the 12^th of March will take part in the famous Practical World exhibition of Cologne (Hall 10.1, stand G78/H79), an important fair in the hardware.

Finally, from the 31^st of March to the 4^th of April, Izar will culminate its historical month taking part at the Fair Industrie in Paris, at the Hall 6, stand F120.
