Key innovations for industry
IND-26, featuring more than 19,000 tools, represents the most comprehensive offering in the brand’s history for machining and advanced manufacturing.
In precision drilling, the expansion of the solid carbide drill bit range in 3xD and 5xD lengths stands out, now including decimal diameters and stock availability with both internal and external coolant. This is complemented by the new extra-long drill bit ref. 8419, with 30xD length and internal coolant, designed for highly demanding applications.
The range of extra-long taps ref. 3142 and 3147 has also been expanded, together with a significant improvement in the geometry and performance of HSSE-V taps, both coated and uncoated.
In milling, IZAR introduces the XOET high-performance inserts, designed for steels, stainless steels, hardened materials, and high-feed applications, all compatible with the same toolholders. The range is further expanded with special inserts and toolholders for internal keyway broaching.
In the field of coatings, aimed at extending tool life, IZAR presents major advances: the enhanced CROMAX, the new TINKO, optimized for difficult-to-machine materials such as titanium and Inconel, and BORA, developed for highly wear-resistant alloys such as Hardox.

The PRO-26 catalogue also marks a milestone by incorporating the broadest professional tool range in the company’s history.
Following the successful launch of the hex shank range for impact drivers in 2024, IZAR expands this family with new references, including the bimetal hole saw ref. 1634 and the iconic blue Multimat, now also available with this system (ref. 1866).
In threading, the range is strengthened with the introduction of premium vanadium taps (ref. 3143 & 3153), complementing the cobalt tap range and covering applications across all types of materials.
In metal cutting, the angle grinder range is expanded with the diamond cutting blade ref. 1847 for steel and stainless steel, offering higher cutting speed, longer service life, and a cleaner finish.
Diamond tools also take centre stage with new angle grinder tools ref. 1843 (countersink/chamfer tool) and ref. 1844 (milling cutter) for porcelain tiles. In construction, the drill bit ref. 1822 stands out, featuring a shorter SDS-plus shank, designed to reduce vibrations and especially suitable for solar installations on tiled roofs and façade insulation systems.
The catalogue also introduces a new high-resistance transparent packaging, which will be progressively applied to key references and new product launches.
